The public is invited to a series of informational meetings scheduled for March 10, March 21, and April 5, about the proposed Ioway Creek Restoration Project in and along Brookside Park. All meetings will be held at Ames City Auditorium, at 520 Sixth St.

The revised conceptual plan for the creek corridor will be presented and discussed at the meetings. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend the meetings, give input, and ask questions about the proposed restoration project.

- Monday, March 21, 5:30 p.m.: Focus will be on existing invasive species, options for re-vegetation, discussion of trees to be removed and which can be saved, habitat restoration and enhancement (bees, birds, wildlife), and educational and recreational opportunities.
