The City Council DEI training and mid-year goal review is scheduled for 3 to 8 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the Ames Water Plant, 1800 E. 13th St.
The first hours will focus on diversity and inclusion training for elected officials, so they better understand the impact of policy making on different populations within our community. There will be a short break for dinner, and the final 90 minutes will be an update on City Council goals.
