City of Ames annual Eco Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Saturday, April 20, at the Community Center Gym, 515 Clark Ave.
City booths will provide information on energy conservation, efficiency, and reducing your energy bills. Booths will feature vendors, organizations that focus on sustainability, and City of Ames departments to show you the latest in energy conservation and green energy technology. New this year will be mini-talks providing a 20-minute overview on topics like food composting, bird watching, bike commuting, and more. There will be interesting displays, giveaways, drawings for door prizes, free snacks, and games for the kids.
