CyRide, the Ames public transit system, is participating in “Get on Board Day” on Thursday, April 25, and will be offering free fare to all bus riders. Sponsored nationally by the American Public Transportation Association, “Get on Board Day” is an awareness and advocacy day focused on increasing support for public transportation among riders and non-riders, elected officials, and stakeholders.
