Ames residents interested in neighborhood issues, starting a neighborhood association, strengthening an existing neighborhood association, or re-establishing a neighborhood association that has become inactive are encouraged to attend a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 515 Clark Ave.
The meeting will be facilitated by Julie Gould, who serves as a City Planner and Neighborhood Liaison with the Planning and Housing Department. It will include a brief presentation, some activities to identify neighborhood strengths and challenges, and discussion time.
