The Ames Historical Society and Ames Mayor John Haila will honor former Ames Mayor Ann Campbell for her service to the City of Ames at a plaque unveiling at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 28. The community is invited to the unveiling of Mayor Campbell’s plaque, which will take place in the ground-floor front lobby at City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. Following a brief program, refreshments will be provided. This will be the 42nd plaque added to the exhibit of mayoral plaques in City Hall.
