Newly elected Ames City Council Member Anita Rollins (Ward 3), along with incumbents John Haila (Mayor) and Gloria Betcher (Ward 1), will be sworn in by Magistrate Voss-Orr at a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall. The ceremony will be streamed on the City’s Facebook and YouTube pages and from the City’s website at www.CityOfAmes.org/AmesTV

Rollins, Haila, and Betcher will each be sworn in for four-year terms on the City Council.

Incumbent Ames City Council Member Amber Corrieri (At-Large) was sworn in for a four-year term on the City Council on Dec. 30, 2021.

Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the Jan. 3 ceremony. The public is welcome to attend.
