Due to the threat of severe weather, the Community Conversation on “Civility in Conversations” scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Ames Public Library has been postponed. The event has been moved to Tuesday, June 6.
Community Conversations on Mental Health are a series of mental health topics hosted by City of Ames. The postponed event will feature speaker Scott Raecker, Executive Director of The Robert D. and Billie Ray Center at Drake University.
The next Community Conversation, “Navigating Mental Health/Substance Use Systems,” is planned for Tuesday, May 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ames Public Library, 515 Douglas Ave.
