The City of Ames is joining the Ames/Story County MLK Celebration Committee in honoring the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr., through a hybrid celebration planned on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, in the City Hall Auditorium, 520 Sixth St. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.; join the Ames/Story County Martin Luther King Jr. Committee for birthday cake at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Community Center Gym.
