Stash the Trash is an annual volunteer community clean-up.

Beginning April 17, you may pick up your supplies from the Community Center at City Hall or at the Resource Recovery Plant at 410 E. Second St.. Supplies include two garbage bags and two pair of nitrile gloves. You may pick up trash in community areas throughout Ames the week before and the week after April 29. A roll-off container will be available for you to Stash your Trash at lot S3 at ISU on April 29 and April 30. Otherwise you may Stash your Trash at Resource Recovery Plant (just tell them that's what it is) or Stash it in your own trash for pickup.
