Ames residents are welcome to join the Mayor and members of Ames City Council at the annual Downtown Healthiest State Walk beginning at noon on Wednesday, Oct.4, at City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. Participants should gather on the sidewalk in front of City Hall. Participants will walk a quick loop through Downtown, ending back at City Hall, where the City of Ames water truck will provide cold, refreshing Ames water.
