The City of Ames will host a public open house at the Ames Public Library, 515 Douglas Avenue, on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. focusing on heat pumps and winter heating.

This event will provide participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive information about energy-efficient heat pumps. It is also an opportunity to learn about incentives, such as Smart Energy Rebates, to lower the cost of a new heating system.
