2024 SUMMER SAND VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Welcome to the 2024 City of Ames Parks and Recreation Adult Sand Volleyball Program! Below you will find program and registration information for the upcoming season. 6 on 6 matches will be played at Inis Grove Park Sand Volleyball Courts (2500 Duff Ave.) at 6:00, 6:50, 7:40, and 8:30 PM

4 on 4 matches are played at Inis Grove Park Sand Volleyball Courts (2500 Duff Ave.) on Sunday afternoons starting at 4:00 PM (times are flexible for this league)

TEAM AND PLAYER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

All players must be 17 years of age.
Priority in placement will be given to "resident" teams (50% of members living in the City of Ames).

NON-RESIDENT FEES:
The Ames Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council established a $15.00 non-resident fee for all adult athletic league participants residing outside the Ames City limits since non-residents do not pay City property taxes; yet utilize City facilities and programs. This $15.00 fee shall be paid for each sand volleyball season (summer and/or fall) that a non-resident player participates in when league fees are submitted.

LEAGUE FEE DUE DATE
Teams will determine the number of matches played at the manager's meeting. After the manager's meeting, teams will be sent their final league fee. All league fees are due before their first scheduled game. If this deadline is not met, teams will forfeit all games until payment is received.

6 on 6 teams participating in the optional season-ending tournament will pay an additional $45 tournament fee.
