River Valley Park includes four ball diamonds north of 13th St., and two lighted diamonds south of 13th St. Parks and Recreation leagues and programs will have first use of these diamonds along with private rentals. To reserve a ball diamond call our office at 515-239-5350.

Four soccer fields of various sizes are set up in the northwest portion of the park during the fall winter and spring. Throughout the year, most soccer fields will not be marked.  Parks and Recreation leagues and programs will have first use of these fields. All other times the fields are open on a first come first served basis  

Two portable ice rinks, one for figure skating and one for hockey will be set on the south side of 13th St in the winter months and open for use weather permitting.  No skate rentals or concessions will be available.
