On September 22, 2017 City Council approved the final draft of the Lincoln Corridor Plan. The plan created unique identities of six different "district" along the Lincoln Way Corridor. One of the "districts", The Downtown Gateway Focus Area, was prioritized by City Council as an area to begin implementation of the plan. Staff has since been working on drafting a potential new zoning district, Downtown Gateway Commercial. Most recently, City Council received information on proposed zoning standards for the Lincoln Corridor/Downtown Gateway Focus Area and directed staff to report back with analysis of nonconformities for properties and uses. City Council will provide direction at the April 24^th meeting on how to proceed with adopting new zoning standards and also give direction to staff how to proceed with the rezoning process.
