The City of Ames is considering a request to add "Social Service Provider" as a use allowed by Special Use Permit on properties in the Single Family Conservation Overlay District (O-SFC). The request was heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting on September 4, 2024 and will be considered by City Council on October 8, 2024.
