About the Complete Streets Plan
The 2017-18 Traffic Studies Capital Improvement Project funding is dedicated to the development of a Complete Streets Plan. The City of Ames contracted with Toole Design Group to facilitate the development of a plan that considered all transportation for everyone, no matter who they are or how they travel. The process included a Technical Advisory Group as well as a Community Advisory Group that helped to shape the plan. Throughout development, public input meetings were held to provide opportunities for the public to review work and give feedback.
Final Plan
On October 9, 2018, the following Complete Streets Plan was presented to the Ames City Council.
